These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of products through it. Please read them before placing an order. They should be read together with our Shipping and Delivery Policy, our Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy, which together form the agreement between us.
Nothing in these Terms reduces any right given to you by the applicable Egyptian consumer protection laws. Any term here that reduces or exempts us from an obligation those laws impose is null and void.
1. About these Terms and your acceptance of them
By using the website or placing an order through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website to place orders. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you confirmed it.
2. Who may buy, and responsibility for your account
You must have full legal capacity to place an order through the website. You may buy as a guest or through an account.
If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your password confidential, and for what happens through your account. If you notice any unauthorised use of your account, tell us as soon as possible.
3. Products and product information
We take care that the product information shown on the website — name, description, weight or volume, and ingredients — is accurate and up to date. An unintended error, or a product update, can nonetheless occur. If we discover one after you have placed your order, we will contact you to confirm, amend or cancel the order and refund any amount paid, and the choice is yours.
4. Ingredients and allergens
The information printed on the product pack is the definitive reference for its ingredients, allergens, storage instructions and expiry date. The information published on the website is for guidance.
If you have an allergy or a health condition that requires you to avoid a particular ingredient, please read the label on the pack before use, and contact us with any question before you buy if you need clarification. We do not provide medical or dietary advice.
5. Product photographs and reasonable variation
The photographs shown on the website represent the product, and the shape or design of the pack may differ slightly because of packaging updates. The stated specifications are the reference. This section is not used to justify a material difference between what you ordered and what you received; in that case our Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy applies.
6. Prices, taxes and delivery fees
Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds. The total cost of your order — including any taxes or charges due by law and the delivery fee, if any — is shown at checkout before you confirm payment, and you will not be charged any amount that was not shown to you beforehand.
Delivery availability, fees and any applicable minimum-order conditions are calculated according to your delivery address.
We issue your order document or invoice as required by the applicable regulations. Prices may change from time to time; a change does not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
7. Promotions and discounts
We may run promotions or discounts for a limited period or on specified conditions, and the conditions of each are shown with it. Promotions cannot be combined unless we say so. We do not advertise a reduction against a price that was not actually in effect.
8. Placing an order, acceptance and stock availability
Placing an order is an offer from you to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order or prepare it for delivery. The automatic order-registration email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order, not in itself a final acceptance.
We may decline an order in reasonable circumstances, including where the product is unavailable, where there is an obvious error in the price or the product information, where delivery to the requested address is not possible, or where there are indications of illegitimate use. Whenever we decline an order we will tell you and refund any amount paid in full.
9. Payment and fraud review
The available payment methods are shown at checkout. We do not collect or store your card details on the website; payment data is handled by the payment provider.
We may carry out reasonable checks on orders for security and fraud-prevention purposes, and we may contact you to verify your order details. If payment is not completed within the time available, the order may be cancelled automatically, and you are welcome to place it again.
10. Delivery, and checking your order on receipt
Our Shipping and Delivery Policy governs delivery coverage, fees, expected times and failed deliveries. We recommend that you check the outer packaging on delivery as far as is practical, and you may refuse an order that shows obvious damage or leaking. Not checking at the door does not remove your legal right to report a defective or non-conforming product afterwards.
11. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Our Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy governs cancelling an order, returns, exchanges and refunds, and sets out your statutory rights — including the return within fourteen days without giving reasons and without bearing any costs, and the period extending to thirty days for a defective or non-conforming product — together with the cases excepted by law.
12. Wholesale, supply and export orders
Wholesale, supply and export orders are not placed through the shopping cart; they begin with a request for a quotation. They are governed by terms agreed in writing in the quotation or contract, and those terms govern quantities, pack formats, prices, supply and delivery dates, inspection and settlement, and may differ from the terms set out here for consumers.
A quotation is not a binding commitment to sell until a written agreement is in place. Export orders are subject to the regulatory requirements of each market. The distance-contract provisions written for individual consumers do not apply to purchases made for commercial or professional purposes.
13. Intellectual property and acceptable use of the website
Everything on this website — text, images, design, logo and trade marks — is owned by Sanabel AlKhair Foods or used under licence, and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.
You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt unauthorised access to it or its systems, not to disrupt it or place an unreasonable load on its resources, and not to harvest user or product data automatically without permission.
14. Product reviews and content you submit
If you submit a review, a comment or any other content, you confirm that it is your own, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or the law, and you grant us the right to publish it on the website with the name you choose.
We may decline to publish, or remove, any content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, unrelated to the product, or that contains another person’s personal data. Content submitted by users does not represent our views and is not medical or dietary advice.
15. External links and website availability
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services, over whose content we have no control and for which we take no responsibility.
We aim to keep the website available without interruption, but it may be unavailable temporarily for maintenance, updates or technical reasons beyond our control, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
16. Limits of liability, and events beyond our control
We accept responsibility for breaching our obligations to you as the law provides. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from using a product otherwise than as its pack states or contrary to its storage instructions, or for loss arising from inaccurate details you supplied on your order.
This section does not limit or exclude any liability that may not lawfully be limited or excluded, and it does not affect your rights under the consumer protection laws, including your rights in respect of a defective, unsafe or non-conforming product.
We are not responsible for delay or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as weather, road closures, service disruption or public events; this does not affect your right to cancel your order and recover its value if performance does not take place within a reasonable period.
17. Privacy, complaints and contacting us
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, and it forms part of these Terms.
For any enquiry or complaint, contact us through our Contact page, and keep the ticket number so you can follow it up. We review every complaint and respond as soon as possible. You are in every case entitled to complain to the Consumer Protection Agency through its official channels at cpa.gov.eg or on the hotline 19588.
18. Changes to these Terms, governing law and effective date
We may change these Terms when our services or the applicable laws change, and the date they were last updated is shown at the top of this page. No change applies retrospectively to an order that has already been confirmed.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
These Terms, and any dispute relating to them or to orders placed through the website, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over them. These Terms take effect from the date shown as the last-updated date at the top of this page.
